^^ That's true of course, but at the same time if you have proper managers, you can bet they are going to tell you to take your career seriously and drop you if you don't. There are a lot of journeyman who have talent and are very good at certain things, but you can't adopt the mentality where that's enough, as I think Augustus did. Could he have been a better fighter? Almost certainly, but he would have had to act like it and put the work in as well. Even in his better performances, he either took a lot for granted or didn't actually have the mental toughness to put the exclamation point on close rounds and show that he wanted it.
That said, he beat Mickey Ward VERY clearly to me, in a fantastic fight.
