Please my friend there is an oxymoron in that statement. The British and Mexican domestic scenes are better and more competitive then 99% of the mismatches sold as ppv's. They are a brain drains and rarely if ever meet expectations. Guys like Mayweather beating up some no hoper and raking in 40 million for a workout. Its beyond rape and pillage. These headliners, about 6 of them have indirectly frozen out the core of the sport and the ppv dynamic has directly caused champions refusing to fight real challenges or other champions under the cloak of "boxing is a business" The biggest cop out of the 21st century.
I'm not talking about competition. I have seen better four-rounder's from guys with under 5 fights than I see with 12 rounds of championship boxing.

But I meant that PPV is the Gold Standard in terms of how we count the money- it is the standard for monetary and financial viability.
