Is it really that surprising or news worthy for people to find out the Floyd may have problems with reading skills? The guy was born and placed in a gym and had a family life that was completely broken.

His university was the squared circle and his professors were George Benton, Archie Moore etc etc, his uncles, his father and history. His life was to be premeditated with an entire family living vicariously through him. This was his "education" and he has earned a doctorate degree in it and makes more money then most likely all university professors combined. I'm sure its a trade off and he could miss his lost childhood in his own thoughts. Chances are that had he gotten what is classed as a normal upbringing, he would not be the same fighter we see before us today. In fact he may have never made it to the big leagues. And that can also be said about other atg's many of whom could not read or write.

I bet Floyd knows how to sign a deposit slip.
Well said. 50 is the one who looks like a pathetic attention whore in this whole thing.
