he didnt get robbed. it was a close fight and you can't disagree with that and the judges scored it a draw. they can akways have another fight

IMO that was Gatti's biggest mistake he tried to box with Floyd...Though it would not of mattered he would have lost anyway but I think he would have been a little more successful........And maybe he was brawling with Floyd...Just not well LOL

I believe the main two ppl that will trouble the pretty boy are hatton and oscar dela hoya.

Hatton because he will neutralise floyd by the way he fights. he wont give him room to use all them fancy moves and force mayweather into a fight!
Oscar dela hoya is a great boxer who may have what it takes to bet floyd.

Winky wright has a good defense, but its perfect for floyd. when winky covers up, floyd will come in and throw a quick 2-4 punches and he'll be out of range before wright could do anything. Even floyd Sr said this too. i dont think this because of what floyd sr thinks, i thought of this before i heard his father say ths.

floyd mayweather sr mentioned this in a interview talking about a possible fight with oscar. he was telling the guy why he believes oscar is a threat and winky is not.

Agreed!! I don't think Floyd has ever felt the power of a guy with the skill level of DLH at 147....Oscar can bang at the lower weights

DLH fought Bernard and lost ... in my opinion that does nothing to tarnish Oscar's reputation or legacy. He was pushing the envelope big-time and found his limits against a naturally bigger boxer whose skills were very similar (skills, not style ...).

However, I don't think Floyd is in the same position. He has not cemented his legacy in the way that DLH has, as everybody but Floyd seems to know. If he goes against Winky and loses (as he should) it will count against him and his legacy in a way that may not really be fair.

He should clean up against the best at 147 and below as well as he could - Hatton for certain he should fight, I think.

Floyd has fought the great majority of his fights at 130-132 or so and only the last two above 140. Winky has fought at 154 or above give an ounce or 8 for the last 7 years.

Being great - even g.o.a.t. - doesn't mean you can do absolutely anything and everything. Floyd needs to take any and every challenge within weight classes that are at least within his reasonable reach. Then when there is no doubt as to greatness, then step out and push the envolope and fight folks you shouldn't be expected to beat - and see if you can.

Just my thoughts - I think we're a bit hard on Floyd but am not a 'lover' - I think he needs to prove himself. After Baldomir (should he win, and I expect he will) then Hatton. Margarito. Cotto. Anyone. Pick up an L against DLH on the way. But save Winky and the like as end-of-career experiments.

yea im an amatuer boxing, and i love boxing, i think hattons style is the style to beat mayweather but i dont think hatton is the guy to do it, hatton gets caught by stupid shots on the way into the pocket and he gets caught by people who are not as fast and do not have the accuracy as pretty boy floyd, also floyd is such a sharpshooter he will definately be hittin hatton in this fight and hatton does not take shots well, he can take a punch but has very thin skin on his face and gets cut up and bruised alot i think mayweather will stop hatton on cuts

When people say hatton wil lose on cuts, that tells me that they know very little about ricky hatton. The reason he had trouble with cuts in the past was because some vaseline had gotten inside a cut, and the cut was stitched back up with the vaseline stil inside it. The vaseline hardened and dug into the inside of his skin causing it to bleed and bleed excessivley wen he's been hit there. So unless mayweather headbutts his way to a cuts victory, then i cart see that been the reason for hatton losing. The reason hatton will lose is pretty much what u highlighted before hand. Pretty much everything you said up until the cuts.
