Agreed. Kudos to both guys who easily could have avoided each other and feasted on weaker competition. Hop is one of those fighters who will be ranked higher historically once he retires and people look at his body of work. The guy is a phenom and has accomplished numerous historical feats. Guys like a Roy, Manny and Floyd are more talented, but in my opinion Hop, at this point, has faced tougher competition than a Roy and Floyd and has more amazing accomplishments than Manny.

i am so excited for this fight. this is the first guy that i can ever remember saying will destroy bhop. i have bet against bhop before, but not this big. im very interested to see what actually happens.

Hopkins finally getting the respect he deserves for fighting a dangerous and powerful fighter like Kovolev. This is the fight of the year after Sergio v Cotton ended up as a one way beating.

Without meaning to be a miserable bastard - I don't see how this can be a good fight, good matchup, yes, but not good fight. Hopkins is either gonna get smashed to bits - 50 year old man - or he will make it the mother of all dirty/scrappy/foulfest/awful to watch fights.
