It could be interesting to spin the question around and ask which 'long term' champs never defended in their 'home' Country.

Technically Napoles would be an answer, but not really; so the first that comes to mind is Brian Mitchell. Brian won the crown at home, but never defended it there, there after.

Why did he fight abroad? Was it sanctions against South Africa?
