Yeah but fortunately (for Floyd in this case) it is one, unless the rules had changed just for that night.

With all due respect, how can you not call that a knock down, there was a punch that threw Floyd off and his glove touched the canvass.. Floyd should have had fingers in front of his face.

I agree, I tried to say fortune smiled on Floyd once again, it should have been one. (unless someone changed the rules that night). Rereading, I think I was talking Spicoli yesterday.

For my money not only should Floyd have had fingers held in front of his face this night. I recon he should have had one loss notched up to him once too,but hey that just me.

I think the guy above me was saying it wasnt a proper knockdown as in a "wow hes down moment' it was a timed mishap sort of knockdown.

I realized that from the get go @Andre I was actually speaking to the gentleman who said that was not a proper knockdown. I actually wish he would explain a bit his statement as perhaps he is seeing something I am missing.

I believe he wasn't referring to the boxing textbook definition of a knockdown but rather a knockdown the way we are more generally used to seeing them where a guy will take a hit and be layed out on the canvas for a moment. The reason for the destinction is likely because he wanted to emphasize that Floyd has never been hurt that badly (to end up flat on the canvas).
