I loved Tom Johnson he was a warrior.

    Fight of the day

2002: Oscar De La Hoya vs Fernando Vargas

    Runner up
1923: Jack Dempsey vs Luis Angel Firpo. A short and sweet addition in a Lyle/Foreman kind of way but with more kd’s and no neutral corner rule.

1917: Sam Langford ND 12 Joe Jeanette, Toledo, OH.
-Harry Greb KO 9 Jack London, St. Nicholas Arena, NYC. Could not have happened to a nicer fella.

1923: Jack Dempsey KO 2 Luis Angel Firpo, NYC. Retains World Heavyweight Title.

1949: Rocky Graziano KO 10 Charley Fusari, NYC. Less then a minute left in the fight and Graziano behind on the cards.

1962: Eddie Perkins W 15 Duilio Loi, Milan. Wins World Super Lightweight Title.

1968: Jimmy Ellis W 15 Floyd Patterson, Stockholm. Retains WBA Heavyweight Title.

Very odd layout for a title fight.
