I don't disagree with anything you say, but the main problem is that Saunders got manouvered into a no.1 contender position in the first place without having beat any of their top 15 rated fighters. these ratings are all BS. For example, Warren is trying to sell the Haye/Chisora bout on the back of the winner taking on Klitschko.
We all know that whoever wins won't get the Klit fight. firstly because he doesn't have to fight a mandatory next, secondly , because he holds multiple titles , he can't fight all the mandatories at once , and Thirdly because Klitschko will fight who the fuck he wants to fight.
On the other side of it , Chisora already had a title shot at his brother and a.) did he deserve that and b.) does he deserve another shot before other contenders?
Its just a glaring light, basic acknowledgment the ratings are meaningless. When did it even become top 15 and not top 10 also. They just make it up as they go. Crazy. Yet they rate a guy like Wilder #2 who has not beat a top 15...unless they count Scott...who Chisora had just ko'd? Do you mean Fury-Chisora yeh? With a win I do think he'd merit a shot before Haye. As Haye had already been clowned by Wlad and has sat on the bench for over 2 years now.
