Cuellar had the perfect fight plan for Lopez. I didn't enjoy seeing Lopez slumped face down on the canvas but watching Cuellar get it done was good to see.
I'm hoping Garcia can help Maidana put on another great effort against Floyd tomorrow.
He has certainly tapped into the Oxnard spirit. Made popular by Fernando Vargas, and started by Robert's father.

Oxnard is for Latinos and boxing as Kronk Detroit and New York is for African American fighters and Wild Card is for West LA and International fighters. All with their particular brand of teaching and fight philosophy.

Such a shame that Florida fighters don't have that "place"... with so much talent down their from African Americans, Caribbean folks and Latinos from Cuba and Peurto Rico, we would have hoped that South Florida, at least, would have something more to offer to the fight game.
