It's a shame when anyone lets themselves go, but when an ex professional athlete does it, it's amazing how bad they look.

I love the fighter formally known as Toney, but he really has been the incredible expanding man for decades now. Sadly I'm thinking if he has dropped outta sight, its very likely he is pushing 300+ lbs and literally unintelligible when he speaks.

Can you imagine a boxing mind of that depth as a trainer/advisor? Its a damn shame

It would be interesting to see what Toney could do with another fighter and I would love to see him try. If he could just keep his weight down, his speech would be a little less garbled too. I struggle to see Toney getting a significant fight now as he just hasn't been busy or sharp enough, but maybe that is the cue to try something else. Maybe like Tyson he just wants to be the fighter, but even Tyson diversified eventually. I don't know. I just like James Toney and he cheers me up regardless.
