1968: Jimmy Ellis W 15 Floyd Patterson, Stockholm. Retains WBA Heavyweight Title.
American referee Harold Valen, the fights sole arbitrator somehow scores 9-6 for Ellis. The local fans, as well as a national TV audience felt the 33-year old Patterson was robbed.
Very odd layout for a title fight.
