Makes sense to me. Mayweather owns the gym and he's having guys spar nonstop until someone quits or gets knocked out, so he is facilitating a very dangerous and reckless activity. Not what you want to see from someone you're about to hand a promoter's license to.

I'm sure it will be easy for Floyd to blow this one off with the board and boil it down to nothing more than promotional dress up for the show but I'm glad they are calling him in. I see a number of people saying they think Floyd will end up broke and busted in the end. At first I laughed off that idea. I didn't watch much of the all access stuff for either Maidana fight, but if that sparring stuff is true then it's fair enough they'd want to talk with him about it. Other people smoking pot around an athlete of any sort, or the athlete themselves doing it, is a non issue and shouldn't even be humored imo. From what I gather the Nevada commission is the most reputable of any in North America, but they obviously still bow to certain interests when it comes down to revenues. If Floyd will have to hand over a decent % to them as a promoter, I'm sure they will be pretty lenient regardless of what he was doing.

This happens all over. I know for a fact he gets this practice from his childhood gym. What is the NAC going to police training now when they can't even put on a decent testing program? This is a dog and pony show because Floyd bad mouthed them. If they want to make rules about training and watch everyone, fine. But going after Floyd because he insulted them is typical boxing horseshit. Finding a lick of truth in this sport is near impossible.

Isn't medical herb legal in Nevada Medical qualifications are along the lines of arguing a "p4p" list now and its merit. Floyd is on THE highest pedestal there is and he does get a bit f'tard during the 24-7, all access series with believing its a reality show without ramifications, especially being handed a promotion license etc. Its very much a carnival act by commission but Floyd demands the big tent to begin with. This happened at the gym I help out at just a couple of weeks ago and that is an amateur boxing club.

Obviously it was no where near 31 minutes in length, more like 8 or 9 but these were kids!!
