Javier Mendoza 21-2-1 (18 ) is fighting Ramon Garcia Hirales 20-4-1 (12) for a vacant Ibf strap on Bein. This is why you like the lighter weights, all action 1st! Looked like Hirales stunned him and got the better of it

3rd round and doesn't look like Hirales can keep this pace. Looks a bit scattered but also not liking the way Mendoza is reacting to clean shots, legs locked going back to corner and just got buzzed end of 3rd!

Unimas kicking off with main event Rivera standing across Ponomarev is a literal man vs boy look, so far only in appearance. At the bell..

Ponomarev is all spirit, stalking and mocking Rivera a minute in. Sharp hands but fool of himself. Way too loose for my likes, owning the action early but falls over himself and hands in his pockets just looking for showy shots. Literally daring Rivera to hit him

Ponomarev just pushing the jab out and acting like he is already toasting victory back in the suite. Not setting shat up really. Matter of time it feels unless he has stamina issues...and Rivera just catches a shot in the balls ffs

Mendoza going full blown assault in 8th vs Hirales, looked to have him buzzed. Think I'm missing a far more competitive fight here

Ponomarev caught some dumb punches end of 4th, jabs and deflective stuff. Rivera has snuck him a few jabs easy here and Ponomarev willing to give up his face

Rivera found a rhythm end of 5th, backed him up and at least moved his hair with a couple right hands . Ponomarev sitting down on jab now but still thinks he is Hamed or Whitaker...not smart!

Rivera took that 6th. Ponomarev looked all smoke no fire as he waited for bait shots. This kid needs to get his head outta his arse and stick to fundamentals. Gets hit way too much and isn't putting them together

Ponomarev much better on the stick in 7th early on. Jab is a killer when actually keeps everything behind it ffs. He tightens up and stays serious this one is over on a stool or by Dr...but he plays and acts

Fini..should be a virtual shut out but just think Ponomarev squandered a bit of opportunity to show more, make a statement-impact. Kid has holes and an ego but may have picked up needed experience tonight. 99-91 at end

Salido and Terdsak (seriously what were his parents thinking) at the opening bell..Salido looks like he's been benching in the front yard for 3 months
