Definitely see ur point, and I know a ton of fans, especially in England, were excited and enjoyed that fight. I just remember the frustration of watching McCall not do anything except catch punches with his face. That was such a frustrating fight to watch. Kind of like the first half of Hop vs Taylor. I was screaming at the tv because Hop was giving his title away by just waiting Jermain out. The second half was good because Hop increased the pressure and started landing good shots, but the first half was frustrating and boring. Still think Hop won that fight and the rematch, but he was too cute for his own good during that first half of the fight bOriginally Posted by Britkid
If you did not have an emotional attachment to the fight, it stunk. The only reason Bruno/McCall cannot be on a list, was due to whether you liked them or not, if you knew boxing, the last couple of rounds were fascinating.
A man desperate to win, fighting all his demons that told he was going to blow it, against a man who did not seem to care and just presumed he would win late.
