Agreed, it wasn't a fight worth rescheduling imo. The first one was in no way controversial or close, nor was it any good. I'd like to see either guy vs some other opponents, just not each other again.

    Irony thread.

I'd happily pay a brown'un to watch Eubank-BJS, so the big lumps are a good bonus at the least

I remember the era when we used to get excited about Funso Banjo and Noel Quarless. And pairing the likes of Davey Pearce and Neville Meade made a 'top' domestic fight...

Britkid do you think these two would have beaten Bruno / Mason / or Notice ?

Both would of beaten Notice. Horace was too small, and his chin looked suspect (Hughroy Currie had him over).

Mason/Fury is interesting. If Tyson's chin is sound enough (it is still up for debate), then he could outpoint Gary, but at the moment from what I have seen, I think Mason stops him late. Chisora is arguably cruder than Gary, and he lacks the chin and clubbing power of Mason. I would be surprised if Chisora got through to the second half of a fight between them.

Frank was fine when not intimidated by his opponent, he could even go 8/10 rounds if need be (Bugner/Brown/Williams). I do not think Fury or Chisora are smart enough to intimidate Bruno. I think their 'act' in any press conference would just amuse big Frank, and the results of the fights would depend on how long both wanted/could take a beating. I doubt either lasts longer than Bugner.

    What is your take?

I thought Notice was better than Bruno and Mason.

All three beat these two bums.

I see Bruno being intimidated by Fury. I can't imagine Frank dealing with the verbal onslaught that the giant gypsy would unleash on him, poor old Frank would be a trembling wreck staring up at him

Frank's power would get him through that fight. I mean Fury hasn't shown much defense and his chin ain't the best either

Yeah.. I'm sure Frank would have a great chance of ironing out Fury. I don't think that's the major problem though, if he did make it to the ring he'd need to be thawed out before he threw a punch.
