I'm disappointed that you think it'd OK to lose 2000 soldiers, obviously you have never served in an army or been anywhere near a front line or combat zone. That does cheapen your argument somewhat and make you come across as a bit of an armchair commentator who gets his opinions off CNN?

I think you view may change if you yourself were lying in a ditch being shelled, or on patrol in a 'Bombing Belt'

CC. You earned it. Though Lyle makes some good points, and his smart ass response to your first post was amusing, I gotta agree with you. Way too many innocent Iraqi civilians have been murdered, and that is what really pisses off the terrorists, radicals etc. Also 1 soldier's life is significant, let alone 2,000. Initally the war in Iraq may have been necessary, but occupying them for this long and losing young men and women every day has just gotten to be senseless IMO. What the Hell are we doing over there ?!
