Was the LSG connected.
You bet they were..........'Louisville Sponsoring Group'
Do you think they had a few Sportswriters in their pocket.
Those group of men in Louisville didn't get rich by playing Tiddly-Winks.

Ruthless Rocco,
I suggest you type in 'Il Duce' and the LSG.
That 'Magnificent Bastard' put together one in-depth and detailed outline of everything.
"Il bastardo di magnifico"

So all this crap you've been posting for days is just you plagiarizing some other windbag from another forum?
Get a life.
If all this crap can be found on another site then how about you post the link and shut the hell up.
Surely you can see that your efforts aren't much appreciated.

Cassius Clay vs. George Logan
Betting-Odds > {4-1} Cassius Clay
The Fight
Cassius was quick on his feet in the Opening Round, and jabbed while circling quickly to his left. George 'plodded' forward,
but was no match in the hand-speed department. George was taking too long to let go with a punch, as Cassius moved fast.
Cassius raked George with left-jabs to the face, and follow-up right-crosses to take Round 1.
In Round 2, it was a different story. George moved in faster, and landed several long right-hands that bounced off Cassius'
left shoulder and grazed his head. Cassius was then forced to fight inside as George closed the gap. The action was 'fairly even'
on the inside.
Cassius was faster, but George was stronger. At the {1:40 mark} George landed a long right-hand to Cassius' head that stung
him, forcing Cassius to grab. Cassius was forced to hold on, as George smothered him with a mauling attack.
As both fought on the inside, each landed crisp punches. At the end of the Round, George was pawing at his left-eye as Cassius
had 'intentionally' thumbed him.
In Round 3, George made a strong attempt early, and was aggressive with clubbing punches. But, Cassius made his move
at the {1:20 Mark}, and opened up by landing 'stiff' left-jabs into George's face.
By the {2:00 Mark} , Cassius was adding in 'left-right' combinations which had George baffled. George put together a
brief-rally at the {2:30 Mark}, but Cassius came back with a some solid punches late to stall George's aggression ending
Round 3.
In Round 4, Cassius opened up by raking over George with a variety of punches. Stiff left-jabs, left-right combinations and
right-crosses. By the {0:40 Mark} George was sporting a cut under his right-eye, and his nose was bleeding badly.
George gave it a good effort to fight back, but he was no match for Cassius' speed. At the {1:15 Mark} Cassius landed
a jarring right-cross to the jaw which stopped George in his tracks. Cassius then added in a flurry that had George baffled.
Cassius then drove George backwards with a right-cross to the head, and then landed several sharp punches into his face.
Moments later at the {1:34 Mark} George Logan's corner 'threw-in-the towel'.
Referee - Lew Grossman jumped in an halted the one-side shellacking.

Cassius Clay vs. George Logan
After Bout Review >
Cassius looked good against his toughest opponent yet. He was just 'too fast' and 'too sharp' for the Boise Brawler - George Logan.
Cassius stated that he was ready for Champion - Floyd Patterson. But that was just 'foolish bravado'.
George Logan complained that he was intentionally 'thumbed in the left-eye' during in-fighting late in Round 2.
George Logan >
"That prick 'thumbed' me in my left-eye in Round 2. I was getting to him, and when I got inside and in close, he jammed his
right-hand into my left-eye and thumbed me."
"My eye was really bothering me at the end of the Round, and I told my Manager {Al Berro} that it hurt real bad."
Al Berro {Manager} >
"George came back to the corner at the end of Round 2 complaining about getting thumbed in the left-eye. I told George
to go back out there in Round 3, and punch that 'dirty prick' in the nuts. I told him to get inside, and drive a right uppercut
into Clay's nuts and to split his balls in half."
"But George didn't want to do it, because he didn't want to win by playing dirty. After he got a bad gash under the right-eye,
I had to throw in the towel. His vision was blurred, and he couldn't see."
"There will be another day to fight Clay. We'll take a few months off, and ask for a return match."
George Logan did not fight again for 10-Months, and returned on February 20, 1963
