Really are you Canadian Scrap or were living here? To bad for Canada that you didn't accept their offer. To be a coach on the Canadian team one has to have had successful fighters (team) or just be a damn good coach. A lot of coaches here in Canada spend their lives working for free just to get that opportunity. Some of the best champs of all time came from the Canadian Olympic boxing team one was Lenix Lewis who some consider the greatest heavy weight of all time.
To get the job as the coach for the Olympic team is damn near impossible? Canadians even have a heavyweight champ and a light heavyweight champ and who knows how many more champs are Canadian no this is a hard market to crack into.
So if you were living in the UK at the time of the offer you would've had to been successful coach in the UK.
To date Canada has been rebuilding our Olympic team Gyms can even apply for provincial monies.many of the border towns have Americans in their Gyms due to the fact that there are free gyms here for indigent people many of the top Gyms don't even charge membership fees to the best athletes.
