How do you throw a cross with the weight on you back foot?
Makes no sense you need to transfer the weight to your back foot from your front foot to punch correctly.

It actually can be done, and is the way to throw a perfectly straight right hand. It's hard to describe, but by focusing on pulling the left shoulder back and dropping down on your right hip you can turn your body while your weight stays mostly on the back foot. It's a good punch, very solidly rooted, balanced and hard to see. The problem with throwing it like that is the range, it has to be set up well or you won't reach, though the hidden advantage there is you don't give your head when throwing it.
