Spinks also WON THE REMATCH. Neon Leon is the ONLY FIGHTER TO BEAT MUHAMMAD ALİ TWİCE. Thıs makes hım the Greatest of All Time. He went on to knock out many more fıghters, great fıghters lıke Alfredo Evangelısta who gave Ali hell as well, and Bernardo Mercado, and Kip Kane--who was touted as a great up and comıng prospect that Spınks effectıvely destroyed.

Definitely. To add to the Spinks legacy, Cory Spinks is the greatest welter ever and one of the greatest defensive fighters of all time. He shit down Mayorga, a fearsome puncher, and Zab Judah, the most talented fighter since Roy Jones. Great call. Leon was amazing!

You forgot to mention that Leon Spinks is an Olympian, Light-Heavyweight Olympic Gold Medalist in 1976.
That's when Olympic Boxing was more like Boxing, no headgear, it wasn't like the slap-boxing amateur system of today.

Minnesota Brawler to a 10-Round Draw.

Scott was coming off a 'brutal' TKO 8 loss to Duane Bobick 3-Months earlier on {July 28, 1977}

But, in September, Scott had beaten up 'Muhammad Ali' in an Exhibition Bout in Minnesota.
