Does anyone else think that islam has declared war on the civilised world ?

I told some buds awhile back after that brutal murder of the British soldier that this shit was going to become part of Western life. I've always been thankful to have a keen sense of whats going on around me and this shit has heightened that awareness. In a bank line up, walking into a grocery store. If I lived in or near a major population I probably would not do anything the same way twice.

It is to far spread to be taken lightly , all the death in the name of islam , nut jobs everywhere.

The government obviously monitors these guys and knows that they have jihadist views and/or want to go abroad and fight for Syria. The government should round these fuckers up, terminate their passports and send them off on a raft. If they want to go join the ranks of savages and fight in some desert, let them I say.

If these guys had any balls they'd try to storm a military base and see what happens to them. Instead,

This country is going to change now. Its not 3000 buts its one and one on the foundation of this country and every scar. Its the place it was done to the one. I think the Conservatives will win the election on this. And btw, "self radicalization" is going to be a buzz word for the next year. This country is going to turn into a police state via baby steps over a decade. The fucks win.

No doubt as a nation there's a lot to discuss in terms of the balance between safety and privacy, not just in this country but globally. I think the problem with the discussion is that it's a minority who are able to be reasonable in the discussion and realize you can't have 100% of both and there needs to be compromises. In my experience, most people either fall into the "anti-government/anti-establishment" camp where they value privacy above everything else and want to strip government agencies of all the tools they need to provide a reasonable amount of protection, and then you have the other side who says "fuck it, I'm not a criminal/terrorist/drug user/pedophile/general bad guy, who cares" and want to give the government carte blanche to reach deep into any and all aspects of our personal lives in the name of "security". There needs to be a lot of give and take on both sides.
