There's not enough fighting to really make that the main part of the entertainment, and when there's three or four guys around the goal, its a case of waiting until the action replay to figure out what's happened.
In the 90s they introduced a "puck trail" on one of the all star games for people who complained they they couldn't see the puck moving, it was kind of funny.

That is the kind of innovative idea that works for me! As long as the players aren't given lightsabers, it could work really well.

Well the Hurricanes have finally started to win a few matches and that's nice (although it fucks them up for the #1 draft pick), but oh well...hopefully they can make a playoff push.

As for my beer league hockey...I've been busting my ass to make a difference but just can't seem to mesh with my teammates. I've only got 1 goal and 4 assists, but have been getting to play center more and that's nice. Granted my typical role on a hockey team is the enforcer but I like to grind and I like to be a power forward as well, but I'm not as good at those things because I grew up playing defense and doing nothing but hitting. I am most impressed with this stat though 0 .....those are my PIMs....which is MIGHTY impressive since I used to average (average mind you) 4 minutes a game (depending on the ref).

Not really a hockey fan, but saw this on SportsCenter the other day and thought it was pretty spectacular.

Great goal but like the announcer said Schneider should have had that one.

    Yeah, I hear ya.

A veteran goalie would know there was no place for Griffith to go from that angle, but between the legs.
Tough to be second-guessed like that, but they're pros.

Yeah, shit happens. It was just perfect timing, Schiender's pad was coming down. Another 1/10th of a second and the puck doesn't go in. Sweet goal though.

The best thing for them to do is sink to the bottom of the league and compete with Buffalo for the #1 draft pick. It's a shit team that's not going to make the playoffs, they should start stockpiling #1 draft picks like Edmonton and Colorado did for a few years. Try to luck into picking up the next Nathan MacKinnon.

Overall, I am happily surprised that the Bruins didn't lost their last 10 games with their depleted D-line. I cross my fingers for a Big Z and Krug's early return.

The Canes had 45 shots the other night and the Sharks ROOKIE goalie had 45 saves.....fucking hell
