I'm much better with it now, very rarely will I miss something to watch a boxing or UFC event, but when I was younger I was pretty bad with it. A real fight nerd.

But it is what it is I guess.
Lately job and mechanical difficulties with my recorder and a wife who thinks the world revolves around her make me remember and keep in mind always, "Where there is a will there is a way"

I had to adjust to the fact that boxing moved from terrestrial TV to sky. That has cost a fortune.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Since PPV has crippled the chances of watching a great fight on a tv network, I never have to worry about spoilers.
The last two jobs I worked in the past 12 years, noone really watched boxing. So I could go two days or three without knowing who won, then on a Sunday afternoon, just watch all the fights I recorded via vhs, then dvd, now dvr.- as if it were just coming on.
Just to follow up, these hours are killing me but at least I can see the fight tomorrow.
