my only concern with this news is that it might take the jermain taylor rematch out of the running for winky's december fight, because i would imagine that both fighters would want a slice of the ppv numbers in what could be a late canidate for fight of the year.

That will be great IF it pulls through. Now that you mention Taylor he did just turn down Ouma and said he wanted Winky so who knows theres been a lot of big name fighters that have faught recently in non-PPV events. You might be right early X-mas gift.

winky draws a hell of a lot more than a lot of these other fights that are on ppv i.e. rahman/maskaev, monte barrett a while back, etc. etc.

that was the WORST fight i may have ever seen, and i paid for it

after the fight, i think rahman said something like "i never wanted to hurt him, our children play together."

It really was a great fight for heavy's I think everyone owes Jay Nady a big thank you for constantly reminding those guys not to hold.. Nady was huge part of that fights success and being action packed. ! when Heavyweights aren’t allowed to hold, they got to fight. Its a killer concept ! I think we are going to see a trend in refing , they are going to police all that holding crap ! the last few heavyweight fights have been pretty damn good !

Yelp ! Pay Per View is shit, from a fan perspective. ! At least in the late 80's and early 90's you got the whole card for your money which usually consisted of 4-5 world title bouts ! Everyone can talk all the shit they want about Don King but that man could put together a fight card !
