Yes he has overplayed the card.
Yes he is right that what he has done at his age-has never been done in anysport.

When it's all said and done, there is some racism in play, but other boxers can claim nationalism, not racism; they just don't.

For example:
IMO-If Wladimir & Vitali Klitchko were Wally & Victor Williams from humbletown USA, they would be on their 4th box box of wheeties, (or frosted flakes if they're like bong-smoking Mike Phelps).

7up, Coca-Cola, Mr.Pibb, Pizza Hut, Snickers candy, Pez candy, Dominos, Little Nasty Ceasars Pizza, their 6th appearance on the tonight show, 3rd on Dave Ledderman, Menards; Sprint & Verizon would be on a war bid, so, too would Apple & Microsoft.

Yet both Vitali & wlad could be called white guys, but Sports Illustrated doesn't illustrate how dominant they have been as heavyweights. In fact they have somewhat ignored the shit outta them IMO.

So they don't cry that America or Sports Illustrated or ESPN doesn't love them.. it's a pride thing for USA to love Americans, Mexico to love Mexicans for starters.

So if Nationalism eludes Hopkins, then African-Americans should get the brunt of his rant as well since African-Americans have proven unquestionable love for Ali, Ray Leonard, Tyson, RJJ, & PBF.

Hopkins needs to be asked why such a lack of respect coming -first from his own which is as elusive as that from a national perspective.
but that's just my opinion...
