We all seem to be bemoaning the state of the heavyweight division, but its actually been throwing out some intriguing bouts in the last year. Toney: Peter was a cracking fight. Brewster: Lyachovich was a corker. Wlads destruction of Byrd was scintillating.

We have Toney still lurking and seething at his decision loss to Peter. We have unbeaten Brock who will be put to the test before to long. And the best of all is that currently there is no John Ruiz in our midst...

Sure the heavyweights are lacking in quality, but its still interesting....

I agree with ya , I think the ref's have had it with the holding crap. If they make these guys fight, this division can take off. , Oleg- Rahman was good because Nady made a stand from the get go in that fight , and reminded the guys not to hold, I think that brand of refereeing is helping sustain good Heavyweight action .
