Makes no sense you need to transfer the weight to your back foot from your front foot to punch correctly.
It actually can be done, and is the way to throw a perfectly straight right hand. It's hard to describe, but by focusing on pulling the left shoulder back and dropping down on your right hip you can turn your body while your weight stays mostly on the back foot. It's a good punch, very solidly rooted, balanced and hard to see. The problem with throwing it like that is the range, it has to be set up well or you won't reach, though the hidden advantage there is you don't give your head when throwing it.
i think this is a version of clays anchor punch, pulling the left shoulder back and getting the torque out of your right hip,

I've been practizing grey's its good here's how I think it goes.
1.start with your weight on the left foot!

    2.right heel up!

    3. Push into the ground with the left foot!

4.fall unto the rear leg kicking the heel out violently right hip points towards your opponent!

    5. Pull left shoulder back as hard as you can!

6.Right shoulder should be slanted toward the floor.
It's a hard punch that takes your head off the line. What I like about this punch is that I can start with my weight balanced.
