Not my favorite track by BH&TMB but I can appreciate it.

Ive always loved how you can listen to one instrument in any track as they were all doing different stuff by design.Some people listen to the whole and hear a mess others can divert concentration and realize its a design its art. It takes a certain taste to like Music from the other side of the fence. To steal one of Dons lines.

On Wikipedia its amazing to read the numbers and depth of artists who was influenced by Dons works.

Think he was trying to blend something new into this sort of work: which I love.

Maybe a blues song dedicated to his misses habits?
The instruments are off in different time signatures as per usual, unheard of back then outside of some rare jazz.
Love that line "There a big pain in your window". Funny but deep and transparent.

that is one great guitar sound and I thought of a friend of mine who only blabbers and smokes. It sounds like a rock/blues hybrid thing, and the xylophone is a staggering sound there how it blends with his little vocal trills at the end of lines. I had not heard that one, in fact there are tons of Beefheart I havent yet heard.

Probably some tracks you dont want to hear. Theres more than a few that I cant get to grips with. Some of it grates on you ,but its meant to which is even more funny and awesome considering the popular intent behind all other music.

Hard to think of my favorite theres so many in so many different jenoras Johnrahs geonras dammit how do you spell jueonras? the closest fucking auto suggestions were conquers and Jurassic of all things .

The band covers so many of them,but this is one of the deepest sadest sounding blues riffs I ever heard the harp is crying to start with.

I love this track which starts thumping blues out eventually but lyrically much deeper than just a plane ride in varying weather, it explains some ladies attempts at taking the controls and his escape from some home noise and marital bliss .
