    1968

Cassius Clay was not a 'fighter' in 1968.

He had been 'languishing' on the College Lecture Tour, and was getting
    soft.

Which is the only reason Foster stood a chance. Don't you get it? Ali is the greatest ever. Say it after me.

Cassius Clay finished 363 out of 365 in his High School Class.

He just edged out a 'Rock' and a 'Imbecile'.

Seriously Bill, I'm surprised you haven't been arrested for stalking the poor guy. You seem to have a hell of a lot of "stats" about him.
It's clear for everyone to see that when Clay was a kid, he stole your sweets and you have never forgotten it because Jelly Babies are your favourites!!!!

Yet he was smart enough to get in the US army. What does that tell you?

    Yes,

But the United States Army needs men to peel Potato's, clean the Mess Hall and
wash the floor of the Latrine as well.

Cassius was not going to be a Huey Chopper Pilot...............

Ali was not any of the above because he principles which he stayed with and did not deviate from.

" High school had bittersweet memories for me.i was coasting through at the top of the class of 365 people and the some skinny kid with glasses called l'il Willy Paxtom stole my work just before the Exam. With no prep work at all I Struggled in 363rd place . But the crazy thing was that l'il Willy P was so dumb, he forget to bring the prep work with him and finished 365th in the class, plumb last just behind Forrest Gump! Man, that guy stole all my work and still finished last behind some Gimpy guy who wouldn't stop running!
Anyway, when I found out L'il Willy stole my work, I tied one hand behind my back and made him fight me. Man I beat him up all day long and when he begged for Mercy, I pulled down my pants and made him kiss my ass."

    Are You Aware,

That Cassius Clay became very close friends with Liberace..........

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

You are right nothing wrong with that.

Did you know he never went to Vietnam to fight, nothing wrong with that either.

    March 15, 1968

Attorney - Chauncey Eskridge stated that Cassius Clay would be willing to fight
then Light-Heavyweight Champion - Dick Tiger in the Bahamas.

    Mr. Eskridge >

This would be an interesting fight, as Dick Tiger is small, but he is a muscular
guy. We have $250,000 on the table for this bout, plus closed circuit money
which could net us another $50,000.

After that, we will fight the #1 Light-Heavyweight Bob Foster in Salt Lake City, Utah.
We have $300,000 waiting for us.

We're just waiting for the fight contract {money}, and then we'll take this
    show {circus} on the road.

We also see, Floyd Patterson and Buster Mathis for other bouts in 1968.

Floyd expressed an interest in fighting us in Sweden for sometime in August.

And though Buster Mathis just lost {L KO 11} to Joe Frazier last week, he is
still a Top 5 Heavyweight. Buster would be a good measuring test.

We will also take on Orville Qualls and James J. Beattie in Minnesota, in a special
    extravaganza.

Most US citizens would have said the same thing at that time. You lot are not renowned for being the brightest when it comes to knowing what is outside of your own country.

    Not True,

Don't judge the American Intelligence on the basis of Cassius Clay's lack
of knowledge on the Geographical Aspects on country locations.

When told that he would be going to Rome, Italy for the 1960 Olympics,
    Cassius asked;

"Does the Bus make many stops along the way."

    True Story...
