Yeah I think Banks has a solid career ahead of him as a trainer providing he can achieve success with another fighter. It speaks volumes that Wladimir, a guy who is a Gold Medalist, a Heavyweight Champion several times over, and has been on a great run of successful title defenses felt so comfortable in naming Banks his head trainer. Jonathan is only 32 years old, he has had some success as a fighter but was never considered much of a threat in the heavyweight division.

If Banks has the option to train some other fighters he should try that out and maybe he won't need to box anymore. I am certain Banks loves boxing and wants to win a title himself before he finally retires but trainers are a scarce commodity in boxing especially younger ones with the boxing mind of a Jon Banks. I hope he does well in the future and continues to be a credit to Manny Steward's legacy
