Because Marquez was a lightweight and Mayweathers farcical conduct with the weight, last minute backroom contract changes and refusing the scale was unprofessional and very shady. The event was strictly about Mayweather short cutting his way back into the "p4p" ranks after he opted to sit on the sidelines, the only ranking that mattered to him.

Marquez definitely made a poor decision to move so high up in weight so quickly. He must have done it for the money. Guaranteed $3.2 million. I imagine it was a career high payday for him (up to that point in his career).

Marquez only got $5 million for the Pacquiao 4 fight.

"Juan Gomez stated JMM felt comfortable at 142, and that even if Floyd's weight does go up - he'll have an edge by being lighter and faster.

Beristein stated Floyd was the fastest fighter they ever faced- over Pac. Did he complain afterward?

PBF also catchweighted Canelo- but tripped out part was Alvarez rehydrated to 165 on fight night while Mayweather lost a half-pound from the weigh-in.

Now I compare the two- Pac fights Margarito @ catchweight , but Rito blew up & most fans talk about how Pac fought this (massive ) guy..the same ones that forgot , so, too PBF.

Different was PBF did it against a MW undefeated, young & strong Canelo.

So IMO I go with Beristein & Gomez. Floyd would've whooped his azz anyway they weighed. And once again JMM didn't complain about it, so why should I?
