You're right, all that matters in the end is that the fight didn't happen. Would have been the defining fight of the generation, but it didn't happen, and even if they do fight it will never have the same impact it would have back in 2008-2011.

Right or wrong, Floyd is the more powerful guy (as well as the less likeable guy), and people will say that he should have done more to make the fight happen.
But Floyd was the clean fighter who held out for fairness and an even playing field.
Manny was the dirty PED using fighter who all but admitted his cheating ways.

Floyd will have no regrets.
Floyd will pretend he has no regrets and did his best to get the fight made but he will deep down and he probably would have won the fight as well.
