We shouldn't have annihilated Gordon Brown for every reason under the sun, none of which related to his ability.
He was the closet thing to the common man we've had in power for a long time. Working class background. Set up a newspaper when he was 12 to try to raise money for poor people etc.
But none of that matters because he wasn't charismatic and talked a bit funny.![]()

There are no working class politicians any more, Ed is as charismatic as a dead slug John Bomber
Prescott he was a common man, have you noticed how slick and polished politicians are all front
but no substance.
Tony Blair he was a oily git a good front man, for the Labour party but far removed from a true
Labour politician, the Unions put a lot of money into the Labour party, but Ed Millaband fucked
them over the prick.
Wonder what it will all be like ten years from now..

I was reading working class people, who wish to have a private education for there children,
can not afford to, price per term between 20 to 34 thousand pounds for the top schools.
People are trying to get a good education for there children, but a private education is well
beyond most working class peoples pockets.
This is a example of a two tear system, the haves and the have nots a great pity as many
bright clever working class kids, never get a chance of a first class education.
I didn't say effective. Fact is he is from a working class background though and is highly intelligent.
Still not sure what you base your judgement on other than the bullshit of the morons and Cameron friends in the right wing press.
Vote for Farage next year and see what you get. A proper pillock.

I can't join you in the British political talk as I know little of it but Dia had some interesting idea he posted. My wife and I are making several moves to improve our financial situation including buying two houses one of which we rent out the other I am slowly rehabbing to hopefully sell it at a profit as the US housing market recovers. We also play the market. Thing is, when your in our financial bracket you gotta take a lot of risks, this whole thing could leave us in a bad situation just as it could improve things. I guess ya just have to grow some balls and hope for the best.
I admire you for taking the risk mate, I have no problem with people making money at all , the
one's I am talking about are injustice, of the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer.
We do need people with money I am not stupid, but things need to be a bit more fair lets pay
people a living wage, which we are not.
What pisses me off if you fuck up in your job your got rid of, if your a banker you lose Millions do
they get rid of you NO, you are rewarded with a large bonus.![]()
Property, smart move. Playing the markets, not so smart. My advice to you with the money you've got in the markets. Are you ahead of where you were when you started? If so put it in an interest-bearing account and wait a year or three until we get a crash or a major correction. Then invest in an index fund that takes very little in the way of fees. I don't do anything with individual stocks but I know a lot of people who do it professionally and they're happy if they get it right 50% of the time. 50% of the time keeps them in a job or keeps their investors investing with them. You being as successful as them, getting it right half the time, can cost you a lot of money.
Long term, markets go up, markets come down. Buy at the bottom and sit on it. In the long run you come out ahead.
Mansion tax: most voters are with Ed Miliband, not Myleene Klass who is a stupid out of touch rich toff.
