Froch would be lucky to win a round or two.
Froch comes right out and says "if it had gone the distance, he would have got me on points, I'd have to chin him". No fighter says that if they are truly confident of beating someone. Calzaghe would have shut him out I think, maybe Froch would have caught him and made it a war in spots, but Joe was tough enough to outfight him if need be.
i reckon calzaghe would win too
thing is tho in virtually all of frochs big fights people are saying he would lose
AA, Kesler, Bute, Taylor to name 4
could have been number 5![]()
Officially the only saddo who has had a girlfriend
You say tomato,
‘n I say …… it correctly.
If Robin Reid and Hopkins can beat Calzaghe, Froch has a chance. Bad style for Froch, if they fought 10 times he might win 3
This is a fair point. As much as I'm not a fan of Froch and I don't rate him particularly highly against the best, I have to give him credit that every time I think he'll lose, he always proves me wrong. Because of his fitness and his Granite chin, he is always in the fight no matter how far down he is on points. There is always a possibility of him turning round a fight in the 12th round.
But against Calzaghe , that possibility is very, very, slim. Calzaghe used to do 12 rounds for fun and be strong at the end, he had no choice because with his Hand problems for most of his career, he couldn't finish anybody off. Wide points win and Froch knows it tbf.
Joe would have given Carl a boxing lesson, no if's or but or but's remember Joe was a tough SOB
himself, looking at both there carers Joe was a two weight Champion, undefeated and the No1
super middle. Regardless what Froch has done he never has been the No1 at the weight, he has
lost twice, yes a tough git, Carl is a very good fighter.! but Joe is a great one.![]()
