Germans out of work.

In 1933, Mr. Hitler promised to end unemployment.

By 1937, Mr. Hitler added 5,000,000 Germans to the work force, with the
unemployment-rate at less than 7% with 1,000,000 unemployed.

Hitler also insisted on a autonomous State in regard to import/Export because Germany could go it alone and be independent. With a population of approximately 58 plus million this was suicidal.
The Nazi's were notoriously useless in economic management, the amount and variety of consumables that had run out in the shops in the one party State is legendary! "
