A lot of white van man actually vote Tory because they see them supporting them as small business.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Who are white van men? Mainly guys working for somebody else, builders, delivery drivers and so on or self-employed tradesmen. What do polls show are the overwhelming concerns of this group of people? Immigration causing their earning power to erode and the general state of the economy, availability of jobs and so on.
Back in 1973 Britain had a referendum on whether to join what was then called the Common Market and has now become the European Union. Back then the Labour party were dead against joining because the free movement of labour provision would allow foreigners into Britain to undercut British labour rates and take British jobs. The Conservative party were in favour of joining for the same reason.
If the Labour party was still the Labour party it would be dead against the EU and European integration. Old Labour guys still in the Labour party like Frank Field are dead against unlimited immigration destroying their constituents' earning power and want to reform the welfare system to make it harder for foreigners to claim benefits (also a lot of Brits!) too. So the Old Labour guys are basically UKIP on these issues. Because they're refugees from the Old Labour era before the party got taken over by a bunch of north London elite Westminster Bubble people.

This point in time we have the Tories on a austerity trip, if I here Cameron say that word again
I would strangle the bastard. We must remember we are told to save thing's are tight maybe
for the poor, but the RICH are getting richer how on earth does this work, austerity for the poor.
Cameron tells us we are in the same boat, no dick head the poor are in a rowing boat, were they
are on the QE 2.![]()
Dismal tribalism.
