Re: Joshua v Johnson - Capital Punishment @ London's O2 Arena 31/01/15
For me it's a risk that has to be taken, there's no option but to take it. When you take it that's up to you but once you've chinned out 10 plodders is there any real value in chinning out another 10?
If you're an 11 stone bloke there are hundreds of fighters out there of all varieties and flavours to test every aspect of a fighters makeup. For blokes at the top and bottom end of the weight scale the pickings become slimmer and you've got to at some point make the leap.
There are two stepping stones for the young fighters in Johnson and Thompson who are separate from the heard of plodders. Both blokes will extend you in some way shape or form, if you've got half a clue (Fury.......did I just say that?) it'll be in rounds boxed only but if you want to be a twat about it (Price) you'll get your chin/metal checked.
I think Joshua beats Johnson in the same way Fury did. Don't give him a sniff and he'll become compliant pretty quickly. If he chins him out after 6 dominant and active rounds that'd be perfect.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
