BoxingScene is of the opinion that the Briggs/Wladimir stuff is staged.
It certainly seems plausible since no way can the scenarios come off THAT funny, especially the water one LOL.
But I think Briggs's brain cells were badly reduced by Vitali.
He should have his licences revoked by every boxing council.
Muhammad Ali made himself a punch bag and look at him now.
I wouldn't wish that on Briggs too!

Briggs is a very good specimen and durable. I don't see him being hurt for life from Wlad. He may take a beating, but I feel he knows just enough to absorb the punches well and/or quit during or after the fight if he sees he has to.
Some people, like B-Hop, and apparently Briggs, are very good specimens. Unlike Chavez Sr., who was a great champion, but when the 90's happened, he was a shot fighter compared to the younger guys.
Foreman too was/is a great specimen, even the fat 90's Foreman was good money!

It should be Jennings, the winner of Wilder/Stiverne, Tyson fury then ...

LMFAO at people pumping up Briggs as a candidate.
I've said it before and I'll say it again...... same old carrousel ride when it comes to upcoming Wlad opponents.
- Dead body gets identified as next Wlad opponent
- Initial uproar ensues as to how this opponent could possibly be getting a shot
- When reality sets in, people begin finding reasons why opponent is somehow worthy and possibility of major upset
- Opponent proceeds to stink up ring
Wlad will retire undefeated, unscathed, and relieved that he never had to face a real opponent.
You cannot compare older Briggs to older B-Hop OR Foreman!
B-Hop was still a first class fighter into advanced age!
Old Foreman was very intelligent fighter and used what resources he had cunningly.
Briggs' physical presence is manufactured by one of the largest steroid overdoses known in sports history, he doesn't have any talent or intelligence in his fight plans evident whatsoever as can be seen from his fights and training. Foreman and B-Hop were world class fighters in their 40's! Briggs is a pure bum beater now!
Briggs was always JUST a slugger, he was never a technical giant!
The best achievements Briggs ever scored was...
- Losing a fight to Foreman, and then getting a rip off gift decision for his first title.
- Roughing up the lazy Lennox for a bit before getting knocked out.
- Getting a boxing lesson from sickly champion Liakhovich until he pulled a punch out of his ass in the last round to win the 2nd title.
The ONLY reason for these theatrics to get a fight with Wlad is because he wants a big pay day to check out of boxing, but he knows he cannot beat any relevant fighter to earn his shot! Pure and simple.
