Did hagler ever fight a whole bout in an orthodox stance?

No he didn't , he boxed a few rounds , then changed back to lefty.
Some felt that cost him the fight , not boxing southpaw for the entire fight.

Yes Hagler gave the rounds away and it ultimately cost him the victory. I think he was being too clever for his own good.
