Well, obviously his idea was good because the Athletic Commissions have jumped on board and athletes have signed up for voluntary drug testing organizations like VADA (including Pac, who was supposedly afraid of needles and the effects of a blood test 2 weeks before a fight). There's a big UFC championship fight coming up on Jan 3rd, and yesterday both the challenger and the champion had NSAC employees show up at their door unannounced and take blood and urine samples a few days ago.

This is what needed to happen to promote a clean sport and to protect the fighters who risk their lives for our entertainment. So many ignorant fans wanted to swallow the blue pill and believe that the old "tried and true" scheduled piss test was keeping steroid cheats out of boxing, even though it had been proven to be useless in most cases.
