I was actually thinking of Bilbo when I decided to come back here. I am proud to be a member of the Baggins clan as Sam Wise.

Bilbo might be dead already as he was suffering from some illness before I had my vacation. I hope he is still alive.

Anyway, for those who heard or watched how the Super Typhoon Haiyan struck the Philippines, I am truly thankful to God for allowing me to survive the strongest typhoon in recorded history. I had to leave our place for two months after the typhoon because of the devastation and had to live as an evacuee with my relatives.

Pacquaio has been converted already and he is now my brother in the Lord. All the more that I will root for him these days. He plans to retire by 2016 so I might as well enjoy his remaining fights and banter with you guys.

I have just graduated from the college of law and plans to take the bar examination next year so I will use this site as my way of releasing all my stress. Be warned. I might be grumpier this time.

I'm truly happy to be back again.

All you pactards, UNITE!!!

Edit: To all my brothers here

I was in the middle of the supertyphoon when it landed in the Philippines. I thought that would be my end. Houses were falling down and the water ( storm surge) killed more than 10,000 people in my area. Some of my friends died and were not found. The response made by our National Government was very slow so the people turned to looting and robbery. It was extremely chaotic and we were so afraid for our lives. It was apocalyptic. Money became useless. There was no rich or poor as everyone was scrambling for food and fuel. The storm surge took all my properties and we had to evacuate in Eastern Samar, Philippines.

I am truly grateful to all the countries ( UK, US, and Japan to name a few) who responded and came to our aid after the typhoon. My place is slowly recovering now.
Damn, didn't even know you were there. I'm glad you and your fam are safe. I seen a very sad story from MMK (i secretly love that filipino show). It was about a survivor of the typhoon.

He was from the slums and had a big family that mostly all died in the typhoon. The guy was in prison at the time and was able to leave to survive the storm. Afterwards he walked like 8 miles only to find his mother and two younger siblings dead. He then had to collect their bodies on a wooden board he found and dragged them til he ran into his father. He's dad was with his other two younger sibling and didn't know the rest had died til he told them how he dragged them there.

Can't help but remember that man and think what I was doing while that man endured that nightmare. I was likely enjoying my spoiled American life. This is why I can't stand whiny Americans.
