OTNB/nostalgist viewpoint: "Shavers beat Ali, Since Ali is great, Shavers must also be great", = both boxers are great.

MaxPower/modernist viewpoint: "Shavers beat Ali, Since Shavers is so shit, Ali must have been shockingly hopeless" = both boxers are worthless.

Boxing Histoian = generally worthless opinion altogether.
Boxing writer = only worthwhile opinion when the opinion coincides with facts
Voting board = Mostly consisting of unintelligentsia or those leftover who are allowed to vote.
