Yeah I know.

Thank god Wladimir didn't compete in that era. What with dudes like Jerry Quarry and Alfredo Evangelista around, one touch on that glass jaw of his could prove fatal! LOL
Foreman, Lyle and Shavers would hurt poor old Wlad with a jab and stiffen his legs.
Lyle might KO wlad with that power-jab
Really, then where is the evidence of Wladimir ever being KOed by a power jab and where is the evidence of Lyle ever KOing an opponent with a power jab?

Wladimir Klitschko has barely fought anybody as small as Lyle with as little heavy+quality experience as Lyle let alone lost to one. Lyle who was never a champ.

Lyle, despite being among the smallest, would also be among the SLOWEST opponents Wladimir ever faced and also one of the LEAST SKILLED!

The 17-1 at fight, career bum, 234lb Charles Shufford illustrated on the other thread which I provided the video for, was astoundingly sharper skilled and much quicker and more athletic as well as stronger than Lyle.

Ali's top opponents would not cut the mustard against NO NAME opponents of Klitschko, let alone the prominent ones. Let alone Klitschko himself!

And I LIKE Ron Lyle. I think he was one of the BEST boxers of the 70's!

In fact IMO he should have BEAT Ali!

Ali did not land a single meaningful punch, was never in the fight against Lyle until the very end when the fight was stopped WAY prematurely, Lyle was barely hurt! He would have not just won, but won easily! He also nearly knocked out Foreman in an even fight that George happened to come out of on top. A punch bag fight if there ever was one!

Sorry but it's hard pressing to find a Wladimir opponent that Lyle would be able to beat! I mean really!
