"Earnie Shavers Shows Impressive Power, KO's Bill McMurray in 59 Seconds"
Earnie Shavers {201 lbs.} wasted litte time, and deposited Bill McMurray {210 lbs.}
on canvas after only 10-Seconds of the start of the bout.
Earnie caught the 6' 4" Sacramento Heavyweight with a left-jab and a right-cross
to the chin at Center-Ring, just after the Opening Bell.
McMurray then toppled over on his right-side, and fell to the canvas.
McMurray was up at the '6-Count', but looked dazed.
Immediately Earnie moved in, and moments later sent McMurray crashing to the
canvas again, courtesy of a booming right-hand to the head.
McMurray rose again, and managed to stay on his feet for about 20-Seconds more.
But Earnie would not left McMurray off the hook, and slammed in '3' hard right-hands
to the head of his dazed opponent.
McMurray went down a 3rd-Time @ the 0:59 Mark.
Referee - Sam Macias immediately called the bout over, as the '3' Knockdown Rule
was in effect.
