It seems pretty clear to me Fury doesnt want the fight. He wants Chagaev, and failing that the winner of Wilder v Stiverne. He'll try his hardest to make it look like Wlad doesnt want the fight though.
I think it's the smart move by Tyson Fury and by Wladimir. Why let 1 fight build up when you've potentially got 3-4 fights build up and with a lot of fans excited about them.
Wilder-Stiverne is going to be a fight fans want to see, it's almost a guaranteed KO and it's for a title which the winner can either defend (probably want that 1 gimme the money title defense before fighting Wladimir) or unify (if they feel lucky).
Tyson Fury is young, he can afford to wait out Wladimir, try to see if any cracks start showing in the foundation. Ruslan Chagaev is someone the fans in Europe know, he's a good fighter, a tough fella, but not a gigantic puncher so he shouldn't pose much trouble for Fury if Tyson gets in a good training camp.
Wladimir will be fighting (by the looks of it) Bryant Jennings in New York and that fight will be big. Should he beat Jennings (and he SHOULD) he could have a quick turnaround fight vs Shannon Briggs (if he wants to go that route) OR he can take on the winner of Stiverne-Wilder. If that fight falls through and Wlad is left without a dance partner we could see David Haye attempt a comeback and want a 2nd bite at the apple, Antonio Tarver, Czar Glazkov, Lucas Browne, or Andy Ruiz Jr.
Tyson Fury should just work on getting in incredible fighting shape and getting his mind ready for the big title fight and should he fight Wladimir it will be a gigantic fight...can't get ahaead of the fans here, got to bring the Joe Sixpacks around to wanting this fight and it'll happen.
Fury is not ready for wlad anybody could see that. Tyson is still very young and can use the added experience.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Also the David Price, Anthony Joshua fights can bring Tyson Fury some big bucks too
