Been reading this for weeks now after the initial 110 mil they uped it by 10. Take note this is only the venue offer or what they call the site fee. In the inital talks years ago jones offered 50 million but vegas topped it. While its more than twice the money, the perception is vegas will top it. Of course everyone looking to profit would love a bidding war, but with each offer comes the possibility of busting a potential deal. Things get problematic as promototers maneuver to instegate more intrest. I wouldnt be supprised to see jones with inversor support throw down an offer. I also wouldnt be supprised to hear rumors that the offer is a fabracation dreamed up by promoters either to get vegas to up thier site fee.

It's not like fraud or corruption is new to boxing. And if you get more money for going soft on him than you make for your actual purse- considering Floyd makes sometimes 20 or 30 times more than his opponent, and for no good reason- then we have something to investigate.

Floyd has not been in a REAL fight since Ortiz... a real fight. Everyone after and a few before was nothing but soft fights- obviously soft fights.

Maidana gave a good performance worthy of a rematch, but the second fight was not the way Maidana fights.

This could very well be true. I've heard Dubai is in the mix. They are doing everything to put themselves on the map since they are running out of oil and have done a great job. I'm sure the rules could be made where Floyd could get his hands numbed up. Will Vegas do anything to retain Floyd or the other way around. Mannys side will probably look at it as more good exposure for boxing but the fight would have to happen at a weird time in Dubai to keep it on American PvP.
