This is a very dangerous and powerful lie that has been perpetuated for many hundreds of years. It is another example of scape goating and demonisation that helps nobody but those who seek to misdirect attention from their own greed and in the end leads to the persecution and killing of innocent people.

It's not a big step from there to greedy Jew, Hooknosed Jew, Theiving Jew, Kill the Jew.
Many of these banks in Europe are the same powerful people who started hoarding money when Rome and the Catholic Church was founded and how gleeful they must be that it's still the Jews who are assumed to be the bad guy. Just as most Christians have remained ignorant of the fact that hundreds of Jews were crucified and nailed to the stake by the Romans, but the one they deify is regarded not only as the best type of Jew (a non Jew) but also somehow killed by Jews and not Romans and so the Jews are now both treacherous and evil. Ask yourself "Whose agenda does that serve?"

It is also hurtful because not only is incumbent upon all Jews to show charity, but also to never publicise or mention it . This removes the temptation to give for glory etc but also inadvertently leaves Jews open to the oft levelled accusations and stereotypes of being stingy with money. This is compounded by the fact that early Christians in Europe were forbidden from lending money and so successful Jews did so. So again the money lender stereotype appears and then the same ignorance that demands and asks of immigrants "Just what have you done for this country"? has no knowledge of the fact that many Cathedrals in the UK for example (Norwich, St Alabans,Peterborough, Lincoln etc) were built with Jewish money. (Or that Millions of eastern Europeans were killed in defending liberty in the second world war-far more than British- but apparently only British or Americans died for their country.)

Jews and Isreal is not the same thing. Yes we are Arabs just like the Bedouin and others. The Palestinians are not Arabs, most came form Turkey. There is a reason most Middle eastern countries do not support Palestine.
