This effectively kills any chance Khan may have hand on landing the fight and I'm not sure whether "deserving" should even enter into the convo because on paper and based on what have you done lately, Brook deserves the shot not Khan.

Cotto is waiting on Floyd and the phantom fight is never far away. In truth Khan putting on a deadline here kind of makes him look like an idiot.

How? Khan's win over Alexander was far more impressive than Brook's win over Porter. It was a far more dominating display. Before Porter, Brook was fighting the likes of Carson Jones and Senchenko.
