Interview: Wladimir Klitschko talks about Stiverne-Wilder
World Heavyweight Champion Wladimir Klitschko is a very interested observer in this weekend's big WBC title clash between champion Bermane "B Ware" Stiverne and unbeaten American knockout artist Deontay Wilder.
Klitschko feels it's an even match-up, but detected a fatal flaw in the powerful puncher from Alabama, "It (the fight) is 50/50 - I had him (Wilder) in camp, and he hits hard, but can't take it at all."
Klitschko has stated his big goal for 2015 is to unify all the belts and the WBC title, at stake on Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, is the last remaining belt that he does not possess.
However, speculations are that if Wilder wins, he will be steered away from Klitschko by his highly protective advisor Al Haymon. And if Stiverne wins, it is expected he too will avoid a mega-money unification with Klitschko by his promoter Don King, who has fared very poorly when his heavyweight boxers have squared off against the Klitschkos.
